Helping to improve the diets of young children

Time poor families are trading nutrition for convenience in order to get dinner on the table - a shift contributing to a rise in unhealthy meal habits, researchers at Flinders are exploring whether a new phone-based app could play a role in helping to improve the diets of young children.

Flinders University’s Chelsea Mauch appeared on 10 News Adelaide on 28 Jan, 2019 speaking about the healthy eating app she’s developing for working families.

Your support recently provided Chelsea with a Health Seed Grant to explore whether a new phone-based app could play a role in helping to improve the diets of young children in time-poor families.
