The Simonds Charity Home

Flinders Foundation is teaming up with The Great Australian Builder, Simonds Homes, to support thousands of South Australian children and families who need care in hospital.

Simonds have generously donated a brand-new, two-storey home at 15 Rhind Road, Lightsview – and it could be yours!

The Simonds Charity Home will be auctioned by TOOP+TOOP on Saturday, 27 August, with proceeds of the sale supporting children’s projects at Flinders Medical Centre. The contemporary five-bedroom, three-bathroom home has been built with no expense spared and offers plenty of room for the whole family.

"We’re proud to be supporting Flinders Foundation by donating an impressive home that will give back to vulnerable families in South Australia who are in need of care and support,” says Simonds Group CEO and Executive Chairman, Rhett Simonds.

“Over the last seven decades in business, we’ve been guided by the same founding principle that began with my Grandfather Gary Simonds; that a home is more than just bricks and mortar, it’s a place that allows families to thrive.

“This beautiful charity home reflects this vision, both for the kids at the Flinders Medical Centre and the future owners who will start their next chapter in the wonderful Lightsview community knowing they've supported such a worthy cause.

You can take a walk through the Simonds Charity Home, beautifully styled by BoConcept, at open inspections in August. Learn more here.

Owner/Director of Residential Sales TOOP+TOOP Bronte Manuel and wife Genevieve Toop have two children of their own and understand how important quality care and support is at times of need.

“We’re thrilled to throw our support behind this wonderful project. The team at Flinders Foundation do some amazing work and we’re really looking forward to taking this beautiful home to market,” says Bronte.

You can bring the kids from 9am on auction day and enjoy a morning of fun! The Nova CASAnovas and Simmo, the mascot of Simonds Homes, will be there with games and giveaways.

If you can’t make it to Lightsview, there are other ways you can join Simonds Homes, TOOP+TOOP and BoConcept in supporting kids at Flinders. Please make a donation here and help children needing emergency care, treatment for a range of illnesses and diseases or those experiencing abuse and neglect.

Executive Director Ross Verschoor says Flinders Foundation is proud to partner with Simonds, TOOP+TOOP and BoConcept to support South Australian children and families who need care in hospital.
