2022 Flinders Foundation Health Seed Grant Round now open

The 2022 Flinders Foundation Health Seed Grant Round is now open to all eligible researchers across the Flinders medical precinct, including Flinders University researchers involved in health and medical research.
Flinders Foundation, with support from Flinders University, is proud to offer this grant round to support health and medical researchers from across the Flinders precinct, made possible thanks to generous donors and supporters in the community.
Up to $25,000 in seed funding is available for each research project. The seed funding will enable researchers to produce preliminary data to apply for larger grants from national and international funding bodies and will result in many research discoveries and advances in health.
Grant guidelines and support documents can be found within the application form, and on the Internal schemes webpage.
Information on the 2021 Flinders Foundation Health Seed Grant Round recipients is available on the Flinders Foundation website.
Enquires can be directed to the Flinders University Research Development and Support team at nhmrc@flinders.edu.au
Value: Up to $25,000 (GST Exclusive)
Closing date: Applications must be lodged by 5:00pm ACST Friday 9 September via the application form. Grants will be formally awarded in December.

Giving hope to people with brain cancer
Often, by the time a person is diagnosed with brain cancer, it’s too late to cure them. It’s typically only when the cancer has progressed to a stage that it causes physical symptoms, like blurred vision, slurred speech or a lack of balance, that a person seeks medical attention.
