TERMS AND CONDITIONS

2019 FLINDERS FOUNDATION CAR LOTTERY

  1. The Lottery is conducted by Flinders Foundation (ABN 66 8336 446 00) of 3 Flinders Drive, Bedford Park SA 5042 under license issued by the Government of South Australia, Consumer and Business Services. SA Lottery License number M13727. 
  2. The Lottery is conducted under regulations governing Major Lotteries as published by the Government of South Australia at www.cbs.sa.gov.au/lotteries and in accordance with the Lottery and Gaming Regulations 2008. 
  3. Proceeds benefit Flinders Foundation and will support cancer research, prevention and care at the Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer. 
  4. The Lottery will commence at 9.00am (ACST) on Monday, 5 August 2019 and will end at 10.30pm (ACDT) on Saturday, 19 October 2019. 
  5. On purchasing a ticket in the Lottery, the purchaser agrees to abide by these terms and conditions. 
  6. 35,000 lottery tickets will be available for purchase. 
  7. Tickets will cost $10 each, or five tickets for $25, or 15 tickets for $50. 
  8. 3,000 tickets will be available at $10, 1,600 bundles of five tickets will be available for $25 and 1,600 bundles of 15 tickets will be available for $50. 
  9. Once the number of tickets available at each price point are sold, there will be no additional tickets available to purchase at that price point. 
  10. The chance of winning a prize is 1 in 35,000. 
  11. There is one (1) prize to be won. 
  12. The prize is a brand-new Toyota Corolla Ascent Sport Hatch, including automatic transmission, premium paint, on road costs, and $3,000 in OTR vouchers. 
  13. Delivery and collection of the vehicle is at the expense of the winner. 
  14. The total prize value is $31,217. 
  15. The Lottery will be drawn at 11.00pm (ACDT) on Saturday, 19 October 2019 at the Adelaide Convention Centre, North Terrace, Adelaide SA 5000. 
  16. The prize will be awarded to the individual named on the official ticket. 
  17. If the prize winner is not present when the Lottery is drawn, they will be notified in writing within four days of the draw, advising details of how to claim and collect the prize. The prize notification letter will be addressed to the name on the official ticket. 
  18. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to claim their prize once they have been notified by Flinders Foundation. 
  19. The prize must be accepted as awarded. 
  20. Results will be published online at www.raffletix.com.au/flindersfoundation and in The Advertiser on Wednesday, 23 October 2019. 
  21. All unsold tickets will be removed from the draw and therefore ineligible to win prizes. 
  22. Flinders Foundation accepts no responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the lottery period. 
  23. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries. 
  24. Purchases made through the RaffleTix platform by a Ticket Buyer utilising a credit card are final, non-refundable and not disputable. Where there has been an unauthorised use of a buyer's credit card, and the unauthorised nature of that use can be proven, then the payment will be refunded, unless it has already been credited to Flinders Foundation. 
  25. Ticket purchasers must be at least 18 years of age to purchase a ticket in this Lottery. 
  26. The Lottery is only open to residents of South Australia.
  27. Flinders Foundation is not responsible for unforeseen technical difficulties with the ticket purchasing process and does not warrant that ticket purchasing will be available at all times. 
  28. The prize winner may be requested to participate in promotional and media activities, including the use of their name, photograph and location.
